Yu Xiaobo graduated from Peking Union Medical College with a doctoral degree in plastic surgery. After graduation, he pursued overseas study and exchange and received personal guidance from renowned plastic surgeons in the United States and the United Kingdom. He has long been engaged in clinical, teaching, and research work in aesthetic and plastic surgery. He has repeatedly participated in international conferences, delivered speeches, and presented excellent reports. He has extensive experience and considerable expertise in aesthetic plastic surgery, body surface organ reconstruction, and the repair of various congenital deformities and post-burn or post-traumatic deformities. He has conducted relatively in-depth research on the pathogenesis of scars and is particularly skilled in refined aesthetic plastic surgery of the eyes, ears, and nose.

 

Technical Specialties: His main focus includes refined double eyelid surgery, ear deformity repair and reconstruction, and three-dimensional facial minimally invasive contouring, as follows:

(1) Refined aesthetic eye surgery: such as refined incisional double eyelid surgery, minimally invasive three-point double eyelid surgery, suture-ligation double eyelid surgery, revision of failed double eyelid surgery, medial and lateral canthoplasty, transcutaneous and transconjunctival lower blepharoplasty, ptosis, ectropion, trichiasis, and xanthelasma;

(2) Ear reconstruction and external ear deformity repair and plastic surgery: such as microtia, earlobe keloid, prominent ear, cryptotia, cup ear, cleft earlobe, auricular nevus, auricular hemangioma, and non-surgical conservative treatment and refined surgical correction of ear deformities;

(3) Comprehensive rhinoplasty: silicone implant rhinoplasty, hump nose, alar defect, alar hypertrophy correction, crooked nose, nasal tip reduction, and other nasal aesthetic plastic surgeries;

(4) Facial and body contouring with liposuction: zygomatic and mandibular angle hypertrophy reduction, facial autologous fat grafting, autologous fat injection for breast augmentation, body liposuction contouring, etc.;

(5) Facial minimally invasive procedures: including botulinum toxin injection for facial slimming, anti-wrinkle injections, hyaluronic acid and other injectable minimally invasive procedures, hyaluronic acid and autologous granular fat to smooth nasolabial folds, apple cheek augmentation, and facial minimally invasive correction of crow's feet, nasal dorsum lines, forehead lines, and perioral lines.

(6) Comprehensive prevention and treatment of hemangiomas, body surface scars, body surface pigmented nevi, and refined plastic surgery of facial black nevi;

 

Currently serving as principal investigator for 4 national and provincial/ministerial research projects, he has participated in multiple national key research projects and co-authored 3 plastic surgery monographs. He has published more than 10 articles domestically and internationally.
